We’ve had a busy few months over the summer working with several clients in London.

Projects have included

  • further development of an existing SharePoint platform with a prominent University,
  • new SharePoint intranets for a leading law firm in London, a software monitoring company specialising in line manufacturing, and a global strategy company,
  • and bespoke SharePoint system managing QA procedures for a manufacturing company

SharePoint – it’s more than just an intranet

When you hear the name SharePoint, most people would automatically think intranet.  But as Microsoft describes, it’s a secure place to store, organize, share, and access information from any device.

When you think about it, applications are endless.

You can use SharePoint as a data collection system on any type of device, even touchscreen, to digitise any paper process.  The software solution offers a robust platform that can be customised to your business process and seamlessly integrates with the Microsoft Office 365 suite making it easy to leverage data analytics.

One of our recent projects in London involved the team designing such a system which needed to integrate with other existing software systems, which enabled the business to report across multiple data sources and improve operational efficiency across all departments.

Health checks – pre-empting failure

If you already have a SharePoint platform in place, with or without a support provider, you can still seek out a health check on your SharePoint platform.  These kinds of checks can help you nip growing problems in the bud such as too many large images or problems with scripts affecting page loading time.

Commission

Commissions are available for both sales and none salespeople. Salespeople can double their base salary!

Performance Bonus

We are committed to developing all staff and run regular Personal Development reviews to ensure everyone is on track. Any bonus is completely discretionary, but we reward our high achievers.

Profit Share

We recognise that the commitment & outstanding ability of our employees is a major contributor to our continued success. We will therefore recognise this with an annual bonus, to be divided between our valued employees.

Workplace pension

We offer the statutory pension to all, with additional employer’s contributions available, subject to performance. These can be in the form of an agreed increase or one-off contributions.

Holiday Entitlement

The package includes three times the employees annual salary and is paid as a lump sum.

We will ensure everyone has the appropriate IT equipment for the roles they carry out, in many cases this will include provision of Surface Pros over and above the standard issue lap top.

Car Allowance Scheme

Training allowance

As staff development is key to the company, all employees who are achieving PDR objectives will qualify for a training allowance of at least £1,500 per annum.

We fund any relevant exams for employees, this would include full funding for first attempts and the potential of part funding up front for subsequent attempts, with the balance payable upon passing.

Interest Free Loans

We endeavour to help employees that may need it, as such staff loans are available, subject to a qualifying period and PDR performance. These loans will be a maximum of £5,000 with the possibility of zero interest.

We endeavour to encourage a healthy lifestyle, and provide healthy snacks and bottled water in the office. The occasional pizza redresses the balance!
